Kanebo and Chanel haul-Takashimaya 16th anniversary

i decided to drop by Taka today to take advantage of the 15% storewide sale today. i think it might be limited to the cardmembers only. not sure.

woah.. so many people. i went to Chanel first because i just wanted the Glossimer 122-Nebula. i don't know why but i seem to be transparent to Chanel staff. it has happened to me at Paragon Metro and at Taka. the Dior staff on the otherhand are wonderful. once i had this really really cute guy that went like:"welcome to christain dior!" ahh... service...

heneways, i hurried down to Kanebo because i want to try their e/s. have always be held back by the $77 price tag. now i am really tempted to pre-pay for the fall collection, 03-Medium of Night. i got Lavender Coral because the colors are so pretty together. i also want to try the Impress skincare line so i got the Skin Brightener cos i'm obsessed with exfoliating and i was recommended the serum for my oily but dehydrated skin. i prolly haven't paid much attention to my skincare lately except the regular SKII Miracle Water, aloe gel and alcohol free toner but my skin's changing so i'm on a testing phase again. sighs.



the brightener was out of stock so i'll have to collect later. everything else are freebies. that's for spending so much at one go. eep!

i painted my nails last night and i love it. i do wished that it's a little bit darker. more navy-ish.

weekly glee.

i was a leetle beet hyper on sunday night. i'm still hyper now actually. my mood will swing from really emo to really high. life is a rollercoaster. yeah.

so very exciting. i have to say that the packaging is really cute but the product is really little. i paid about 19SGD each for these. i'm just really surpriced at the amount in there.

hopefully only for a while. i need to sort everything out since it's all uploaded hapharzardly. i also need to more or less standardise my prices. since a lot of my work are pretty labour intensive even though i do not use much materials. small=difficult. complicated=more time. anyways i'm in the process of investing into opening shop on Etsy. wish me luck!

Fyrrinae hauls

my loot from Fyrrinae arrived in my mailbox on wednesday. on that faithful day, i was locked out of da house because i forgot to take my keys in the morning when we left for work. i had to call the DH and got him to knock off work and let me in. ah ha ha.

later in the evening i pressed all the shadows. i'm loving all the colors i got this time.

I also got a lovely matt gray with sparkles called Baby beluga which i wore alone today. it's a sweet and flattering color. i bought quite a number of colors from their Endangered Species collection mainly because they donate a portion of the purchace price to the WWF.

my first swap and Lavshuca hauls

i had a spare brand new IMJU Deja vu fibrewig and decided to put it up for swap in MUA. some one contacted me about it and i decided to swap her for a MAC lipglass. Hello Kitty's "She Loves Candy"

i was reading some Taiwan and Japanese(can't read jappy but i like to look at pictures haha) and i saw the ad for the Lavshuca Dramatice Memory Rouge. oh my, my inner princess fell in love with the packaging and i decided that i must have it. in the end i tracked them down on Ebil Bay selling at a reasonable price. i bought 2.



i selected the colors based on the official swatches and looks plus swatches on LotusPalace

both colors came out nude on my lips. they're both pigmented enough to cover my mauvish colored lips. i lurved them to bits. so much so that i ordered another 2 more Mini Jewelry lips (Adambeauty) to try. i can't wait for them to arrive.

on sunday i bought a pitcher plant at the Pasar Malam.



i am extremely please with it. hopefully it will help reduce the fruitflies that are always in my apartment.

since it's a holiday today, i decided to finish up a WIP. my cousin's getting married this thursday and i wanted a new hairpiece to wear.






ok now i will have to get started on my presentation for tomorrow. haha.

Etude House nails

i'm back into painting my nails again since i'm not doing anymore crafty things that involves glue or thinner. not much anyways. i recently got myself some polish from EtudeHouse and i loved them. they're rather easy to apply and the colors are pretty. of course my Seche Vite top coat made drying a breeze.



i really missed using black polish, that last time was probably 11 years ago! i'm wearing the purple polish on my nails now. i loved those polishes so much that yesterday i popped into EtudeHouse again to hual me some more pretties. i had to exert much self control from buying up every available shade!



i can't wait to try everything. i'm definately going to have a long list for the DH when he goes to Korea next time.

i finally finished my baby mobile. my cousin was rather delighted with the doggies but we've since concluded that it will probably amuse the mother more than the babe.



the baby will be looking at a bunch of bums. ;)

Lots of wonderful things from Hong Kong

the DH was in Hong Kong for a few days last week to give talk at a conference. i gave him a list of Jill Stuart items and the shop address and sent him on a shopping mission. :))



06 Glazed garnet and 02 Crystal Jade e/s, Powder BLush in 03 Crimson Flush and Lip Luster in 09 Red Fox.

'bout Red Fox, it looks so deep online but my tube looks more like 03 glazed taffy , and i'm wearing it sans make up right now and it seems to make me look sallow. although i have to say that the color is gorgous and the sheen is beautiful. i should have stuck to my original choice of 17 festive wine. probably test drive it for another day tomorrow before trying to swap it away or something.

i like the blush to a certain extent but i was hoping that more of the plum would show through.

the DH also found the cutest Forever Friends shower caps for me.

when the DH was still in HK, he said he found and bought me a cute container for putting things in. i was expecting something acrylic or plasticy to with compartments to store my knick knacks. instead he brought this back.



OMG!!! the case came up to my knee and it's heavy! <3<3<3 my DH is such a wonderful man. hahahaha! i'm still besides myself with glee and excitement.

it was such coincidence that i happened to be sorting out my cupboards and rearranging my jewellery and making space to accomodate my young and growing make up collection when he touched down yesterday and lugged the jewel cupboard home.

it's all filled up with lots more space for more junk. tee hee..

i was trying to string up my baby mobile on saturday night but i don't like the way it's turning out. it looks really nice from the top and side but i'm thinking that the baby is going to look at it from the bottom up and she's gonna end up looking at a bunch of green wires. boo ya. i'll have to rework it.

as pretty as a blushing bride

before my DH goes off to Hong Kong, i decided to swatch my blush collection and see what shades i've already got. i really liked the Jill Stuart powder blush from my previous hauls and wanted to get another one, namely 03 Crimson flush.





i went from haveing a few basics like light pink (SKinfood sugar cookie), pink (skinfood color pan) and orange (innisfree? Hanskin? sparkling orange) to this lot. after the DH comes back i'm not going to get any more blushers. i'll stick to e/s from now.

So while waiting for the DH to come home for dinner i decided to swatch the purple palettes i have.

About dazzling moon, it looks blue in the palette and it looks blue on my hand. But i have been wearing both the colors for the past 2 days and they show up purple on my lids albeit a bluish purple. not really a complaint since i <3 purples and they do look good. On Sunday, we went to the Toy, Animation and Comic convention.

Averie's Day

my cousin gave birth today via caesarian birth. the girl girl didn't descend to the correct position and the umbilical cord was entangled over her shoulder so the doctor decided to cut her out. haha. sounds horrible. it is horrible. don't think that caesarian birth is the easy way out. altough you might feel no pain during the birth, remember that you'll now have this huge wound across your belly that will take at least a month to seal and maybe 6 months to heal properly.



we were also at the science center today. tomorrow we will once more ignore the house work and go to the Toy n Comic expo at Suntec City

Jill Stuart hual - Fall 2009

my friend was kind enough to send over my JS hual tonight. it was CP'ed by Kyotobaby. <3<3<3

it's my first JS hual and hopefully not my last. tomorrow i'm gonna try em out.





i did a simple swatch of the e/s and they are more purples then dark blue. the gray is gray with sparkles and the silver is just silver sparklies. i guess peeps who are familier with JS e/s knows what i'm talking about.
on a side note, i got a Dior flyer yesterday and there's a peak of the Xmas 2009 look. more purples it seems.



since i am on a purple smoky phase this is just my cup 'o tea but i will restrain myself until christmas...
